Halloween

Hunter asks every day if today is Halloween, and every day I tell him no, that it is __ days away. He asked again on Friday so I decided to make a Countdown calendar for him and Hailey. It took just a couple of minutes to complete, and we had fun too. LOL Hunter and Hailey used my Big Shot and some Sizzix dies to cut the numbers. I was surprised at how easy the Big Shot is for them to use (MUCH easier than Hunter's Cuttlebug Kids!!!!) The image is a retired stamp from The Angel Company, Colored with Prismacolor pencils. I picked up the ribbon and the designer paper at my favorite scrap book store. (There was only ONE piece of that paper left in the whole store- Waaaaah. LOL) The card stock is Bazzill (and the page with the 6 is really purple!!) I used the Bind-it-all so my numbers would flip and so they are all attached to my base. The base is a rectangular coaster- LOVE them!!

Ok, so are you ready to see this super cool Halloween countdown calendar?

Here it is...............................................

I wasn't around much last week- Hailey bug had a cold and it caused another Asthma attack on Thursday. Yep another 5.5 hours in Children's ER. This was her 3rd trip there in 6 weeks. She sees her DR tomorrow and then back to the Allergist/Asthma DR on Tuesday. Please join us in prayer that they can get her meds regulated. I really hope to have her in good shape before the cold and flu season gets going. (Oh and after 6 breathing treatments and a liquid steroid she was like ADHD on speed. I kid you not, my sweet little angel was a total mess. LOL)

Until later~

Very cute! What a neat idea that's interactive for your little ones. And the fact that they got to help is awesome! I love when kids do crafts. I love that look on their face that says "hey, look what I made". :)

Another fantastic Idea, will have to try one for Christmas my little boy Dillon is already asking if it's Christmas yet! The Cheek, I would need loads of numbers for that project! HuGs & Kisses to Hailey too!
