Here is a couple of Thank you cards. Again I used the Black and white with a splash of color challenge from over at Paperwings. I am still loving the Scor-pal too. LOL The scored lines add a little extra detail. (When scoring more that once where the lines will form a corner I like to alternate the scoring direction. Clear as mud, right? LOL I did the first line on the left side, rotated my card (90 degrees) and scored the bottom, then back to the left side and ended up at the bottom. This makes the intersecting lines looks cool.)

Stamp sets- Oh how and More abundance

Paper- White 110# and Black (TAC)

Ink- Pallete Noir and Cote d'Azure

Misc- Giga Scalloped Circle punch, Coluzzle cutting system, Coluzzle nesting circle template

Scor-Pal, misc ribbon

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend. Can you believe May is coming to a close already? My mom and sister came down on Monday. They brought the kiddos a swing set. Hunter loves going high. Sister is not too sure yet. (It may have to do with her only really being able to hold on with one hand. The cast is supposed to come off next Thursday. Woo Hoo) But, by the end of the day she was yelling, "Go high!" LOL

Today's blessings-

**Sunshine**

** Peonies in bloom out front**

** Having Joy**

An'udder birthday? card

You are not going to believe this- I do not have a Pretty posie card today!! LOL I do have another birthday card though. I love black and white!! One of the challenges on Paper Wings this week was using Black and white with a splash of color. So what do you think? The right front of the was scored with the Scor-pal and fold back. Brads were added to hold that edge in place so the cow spots inside the card would show. Gel pens was added to the ice cream and sunglasses to make them shiny and make it a little 3D. The bikini was done with a gel pen also. Hooves, horns and cone was colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I think this cow is just too cute!!

Stamps- An'udder birthday?

Card stock- White 110# and Tac's black

Ink- Palette Noir

Misc- Glaze Gelly pens, Prismacolor pencils , OMS and misc brads

Today's blessings-

I think this will be the last Pretty Posie card. (Well, at least for a little while. LOL) The funny thing is that there are more stamps in that set! LOL Oh well, I am having so much fun with this image.
A bunch of favorites were used on this card. My "current" favorite stamp, my fave coloring technique (Prismas and OMS), pop dots and the black gingham ribbon.

You want candy??

How about another Scor-pal card? LOL This time diamonds were embossed on the card base, and then Palette inks were sponged over the white card stock to create a one of a kind background. I bet you can't guess what was used to color the posie. *wink* I seems that lately everything is colored with Prismas and OMS. LOL
This time I used a clear gel pen over the flowers to add a little shimmer.

Here are the details-
Stamp- Pretty Posies
Card stock- White 110#, TAC's Scarlet and black
Palette Inks- Sun flower, Orangerie and claret
Misc.- Prismacolor pencils, Scor-pal, clear gel pen, ribbon and craft knife

Today's blessings-
**A Bright pink cast, Woo hoo, the bone is in place, no pins!!
**A little girl that is so patient while doctors work on her arm**
** Shelter from the rain**
** Tall purple Irises, blooming out front**

Just bear with me, I have one more Pretty posie card to share. I promise to move on to something else. LOL

Another card

Here is another Scor-pal card, this time it is just a basic grid on a gate fold card. The Posie was colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. (I love this technique!!) The OMS works so well with the Prismacolor pencils. The color just glides across the paper. And the Prismacolor pencils are not like your school days colored pencils- they are waxy, and the color goes down so smooth. And blending with them is so easy.
Card stock- White (110#), Yellow (Bazzill) and TAC's Navy
Misc- Scor-pal, eyelets, ribbon and the Crop-a-dile

Today's blessings-
**Sunshine**
**Veggie Tales**

Well, last week ended a lot better than it started. Friday Hunter had his hearing test and it turns out that his hearing is fine. He does have a little fluid behind the ear drum on the left side. She was confident that the mild hearing loss on that side would be restored once the fluid is gone!

My mom met with her Oncologist on Friday, and now we are praying that the cancer has not gone to the Lymph Nodes. IF it has not spread yet she will only need Radiation, which would be better for her kidneys. She feels much better about the whole situation now. (And it helped that her Oncologist is a Breast cancer survivor!!)

Ok, here is a Mother's Day cards:
Here is one sent to MIL, this is also one I designed for my last FUNshop. I think the Scor-pal makes even a simple design look very elegant. Here that front of the card was embossed on all 4 sides, leaving an open area in the center for that matted image. The score lines also left a spot at the bottom for a sentiment, and this one fit perfectly. And don't you just love those big scalloped circle punches- Fun!!
Stamps- Oh How Tac
Misc.- Scor-pal, Mega scalloped circle punch, Giga scalloped circle punch, black pen and misc. ribbon

I had hoped to post Blog candy last week to celebrate my 100th post, so, since I didn't get that done I hope to do it this week. LOL (Hailey sees the Orthopedic Surgeon on Wednesday. We are praying that she will get a cast and not have to have pins put in her elbow!! So, we will see how that goes.) So, keep watching for Blog candy- I will make it a good one too!! LOL
Today's Blessings-
** God's faithfulness**
**Strength in the "storms"**
**Encouraging words from others!! Thank You!!**
Until later~

When it rains....

Have you heard the old saying, "When it rains, it pours"? Well, I think it is raining on us. First my mom learned last week she has breast cancer, then last night Hailey fell and broke a bone in her elbow. She has a splint on until she sees the Orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday. Because she is only 21 months old she has a lot of cartilage and she still forming bone and the Dr wasn't sure if it will heal properly. I am hoping she will not need to have pins put in it. She was playing around at the hospital, and didn't even cry when she got her IV. I was so happy they let her come home last night. Please keep her in your prayers that all heals well.
Here is another card from Tuesday night. This one uses a retired TAC stamp set called Nothing Better. I used the Rock and Roll technique.
I love the black gingham ribbon. (I would use it on every card- if I could. LOL)
This is for the mother of a lady in our Sunday School class. She broke her hip and is now recovering. She has been feeling a little down, so maybe this will lift her spirits.
Stamps- TAC retired Nothing Better
Ink- Palette Sun flower, Orangerie, and Jardin Moss
Misc- ribbon, Scrappers floss, black eyelet, and punches
Today's blessings-
**After spending almost 7 hours in the Children's ER, I am so thankful for healthy (and active) children**
**People with the gift for treating sick and injured kids with compassion**
**Our son that loves his little sissy and wants her all better**

Finally, a card to share

My Tuesday night work night was very productive last night. (I wish you all could have seen Hailey as I headed "off to work". She was so sweet, waving and saying "bye, bye Mommy". She gave me kisses and even tried to cry a little. But by the time I got to my "studio" at the end of the hallway she was fine. LOL And when I finished up and came out from stamping she ran to greet me with lots of hugs and kisses. LOL) I still have several cards I would like to get done before the weekend. LOL Here is one that needs to go out in today's mail. (PSA- Don't forget that postal rates are going up on Monday- May 12!!)

This is a birthday card for a little guy that will be 2 on Saturday. I hope he likes this cute little doggie. I love this stamp, it reminds me of our Basset hound, Mable.
Stamps- So Silly
Paper- DCWV and Bazzill
Accessories- Prisma color pencils, OMS, white gel pen and misc ribbon
By the way- this is my 100th post!! Woo Hoo, so you know what that means-Let's celebrate with some yummies. (I will give you more details on that later in the week.)
Blessings for today-
** A DH that entertains the kids so Momma can do what she loves to do**
** Being a Stay at home mom, and a Work at home mom (as needed for my sanity)- LOL**
** The sweet smell of Lilacs on a warm spring breeze**
**Having my cup full and over flowing**
Until later~

Prayers please

I just wanted to pop in a second and ask all of you for prayers for my mom. Her biopsy came back today and she has Breast cancer. The doctor is confident that Chemo will take care of it. Please pray that she keeps a positive outlook and that her treatment goes well. She also has a kidney disease so I am concerned about how that will factor into her treatment.
Thanks!!

Until later~
