A CASE

While surfing the net I saw a card similar to this (I forget where I saw the card, Oops). I knew when I saw it that I wanted to CASE (Copy And Send to Everyone) this one. LOL Don't you think this would make a lovely Christmas card? I think for Christmas I will add a little glitter to the tree branches. The Coluzzle was used to make a frame where the blue inks were sponged.

Totally non-craft related- Do you watch The Next Food Network Star on the Food Channel? I think last night was a surprise. I am so glad that the show is finally becoming what it should have been from the beginning- focused on food. I am still not sure which contestant I want to win- and there are only 4 left. LOL

Happy Mail!!

I *heart* happy mail!! This was a nice surprise yesterday. I did not think this would be here until next week. This is the "prize" from The Angel Company for being one of their Catalogue designers. (Each designer got a gift card worth over $70 to use in the new catty. How cool is that? I LOVE TAC!!!) I chose the new SWIC Reece. The papers are just gorgeous in the catalogue, but once I got them in my hands- well let's just say- YUMMMO!! The matching cardstock and ribbons are just as yummy. LOL The stamps are the new Playful Kitties, Vintage Christmas, Christmas Circles and Decorative Corners. (Please click on all of the red names to get a closer look.) I am wanting to get started on my Christmas cards, so this will come in very handy.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. The weekends always go so fast!!

What a deer-

I love this deer. He just looks so regal. There is no doubt he is the King of the forest. This is another retired set from TAC called Moose. This card is going to a young boy celebrating a B-day next week. I know he will love it, he enjoys hunting with his dad, and this will remind him of their time spent together in the woods.
I used the Coluzzle for the ovals. (I love that cutting system, it is so portable and very inexpensive.) The DP is Rustic Chic from TAC. Ink is burnt umber.

Pretty Posies

Do you remember a short time ago I got on the Pretty Posies kick, well, here is another one for you! LOL Oh, and I am very sad to sat that this set retired last month. **pout**

I stamped the image twice and used Prismacolor Pencils and OMS on the first one. On the second one I only colored the largest flower, after I cut out that flower I layered it onto the first image using pop dots. I am pleased with how it turned out. I added a little detail to the flowers with a clear glitter pen. The ribbon was placed between two scored lines made with the Scor-pal. The sentiment is from Be Still.

Company Update July 2

Important Hostess Half-Price Item Update"Where There's a Will, There's a Way!
Yesterday we reluctantly released an update to our Hostess Half Price Program as a result of being bombarded with continuous price increases and fuel surcharges due to current economic conditions and other factors. We know that our prices will continue to rise from vendors, some quite extensively, over these next few months and we are faced with finding solutions for what will be a problem. After releasing our updated Hostess Half Price Program in which you could only redeem Hostess Half Price Items and Hostess Booking Items on rubber stamps and TAC™ papers or kits, we received some incredible feedback from our field along with some incredible solutions that quite honestly ~ we hadn’t thought of. So many solutions were pure genius, however, implementing some of these solutions would require massive re-programming of our computer systems which would end up costing the company just as much, if not more, to implement. After sorting through enormous amounts of email we have found a solution, suggested by many of our Angels, which we believe will solve the issues we currently face and it’s a solution that works! This new Hostess Half Price Program supersedes the Half Price Item update we posted yesterday. Effective July 15, 2008, the Hostess Half Price Program will operate as follows: For FUNshop Net Sales between:• $100-249.99 hostesses may select 1 half price item from any item in our current catalogue.• $250-499.99 hostesses may select 2 half price items from any items in our current catalogue.• $500-749.99 hostesses may select 3 half price items from any items in our current catalogue.•$750 and above hostesses may select 4 half price items from any items in our current catalogue.The Booking Bonus Half Price Item is being eliminated and will no longer be available on any order beginning July 15, 2008. While this is an unexpected hiccup we are thrilled with this solution and we continue to believe that “where there’s a will ~ there’s a way!” By working together with our Angels we continue to move in the right direction! These times that we have all faced lately have been difficult but together we can find solutions that work for everyone and share the economic hardships and meet our customers half-way! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and presenting solutions that we hadn’t even considered. Hostess Half-Price Items
Please note the following important information concerning Hostess Half-Price Items and Hostess Booking items. Effective July 15 Hostess Half Price Items and Hostess Booking Items may only be redeemed on rubber stamps and TAC™ papers or kits. Additionally, please note that a hostess must have $75.00 or more in commissionable sales in order to be eligible to receive the Booking Bonus Item. Due to the continuous price increases and fuel surcharges vendors are implementing, The Angel Company™ must address our Half Price Item and Booking Item issues immediately due to the incredibly large loss the company faces as a result of these continuous price increases. While we would have hoped to make this change simultaneously with the introduction of a new Inspiration Book, current economic issues prevent that and as a result we must take action immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your support and understanding as we address this issue head on.

Good Timber

This is my last submission for The Angel Company's Fall/Winter Inspiration book and Catalogue. (Actually this one was my favoritest! LOL)

I love this tree from Good Timber. My favorite thing to do with it is to use chalks on it.
