Today is the day

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago I mentioned the card kits I was working on to take to the local Nursing Home? Well, today is the day!! I really hope that the families in our church will take part. I am sure my kids will enjoy giving their crafts and cards to the residents.
Here is one of the cards we made to take tonight.

I stamped Linear Sentiments using the L'Amore Palette ink. (Tip: I stamped the flower and then used the Extra Jumbo circle punch to punch it out. That made cutting out the flower a breeze!!) The sentiment is from Trendy Greetings. A 1/4" punch made the flower center. Super quick and easy card. Perfect for mass production. =)

Baby Congrats!

As a collector of Water Globes (well, I was before I had kids, LOL), I was so excited when I saw this one on a Cricut cartridge. As soon as the globe was cut I had to use it- and yes, I was in the middle of another project at the time. (Remember I have stampers ADD?!? LOL) It really is funny because I don't know anyone expecting right now. I guess I am ready when the need arises. :-)
The stamp is Hello Baby from TAC. The sentiment is from Trendy Greetings. The cute little giraffe is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I added LOTS of glitter- not only to the card, but to my counter in the studio, the floor, me........ well, you get the idea. *chuckle* I added a little bling to the corners to finish this one off. So what do you think? (Hee hee, I stole that line from Barb.)

Escape

Living in central Ohio this time of year can be a challenge. Seventy degrees one day and thirties the next. I never know how to dress the kids when we go out. The Angel Company had their winter get away this weekend, in San Antonio, called Escape. For those of us that could not make it, Angie and the girls over at Paper wings (a TAC demo board) planned an online version of Escape. I have really enjoyed it!! I won a round of bingo and a scavenger hunt. Rita, Angie and Diana shared business ideas. There are project to complete and contests. I got to do 2 of the contests last night. One was the Clamshell Challenge, you know, those little boxes that our stamps come in. Here is what I came up with-

This is a tiny little tag book. I ran the top and bottom parts of the box through my Bigshot with the tag die cut. It cut like butter, who would have thought? LOL I used Bazzill pink paper and the designer paper is Pop Rockz (TAC),stamps are Trendy greetings, swirly gigs, and Rag dolls. I did another one I will share later.

I hope to complete the projects soon to share.

Challenge card

Here is a card created for a card challenge over on the Paper Wings site. The challenge was to make a window card. I used the Coluzzle cutting system and Nesting Oval template to make the window opening. Perky Penguins is stamped inside of the card, and colored with Prismacolor pencils and a colorless blender pencil. The paper just retired from The Angel Company- Vintage Holiday. The Sentiment is Trendy Greetings, also from TAC. A little Stickles for bling, and this is a very easy card to make.
