Bind-it-all

It is such a cute little thing! But, don't it's size fool you. The Bind- it-all is such a little work horse. I have made 3 books with it already, and there are at least a million more ideas floating about in my head. LOL

I have used 4x4 chipboard coasters for my covers, and the Bind-it-all has no problems with the thickness. You can make you book as thick or thin as you like.

This is a Gratitude Journal. I was surprised at how quickly and easily it all came together. Chip board coasters were covered with paper from the Miss Moxie SWIC from The Angel Company to make the front and back covers. White card stock made the pages. The label is Floral Labels from the Spring Supplement and G is for Gratitude.

The pages were completed with G is for Gratitude, Floral labels, More Abundance, Be Still and Punctuation. Lavendar Sachet, Chartreuse, L'Amore red, Orangerie and Paris Lights Palette inks where used. These colors work so well with the Miss Moxie collection.
This is a great little book to record your Spiritual journey, favorite scriptures, hymns and God moments. A little ribbon on the binding and you are all done. So cute, and useful too. And by using the Bind-it-all you can customize it with as many pages as you wish. How cool is that? These would make excellent gifts for your Ladies groups.

This is one of my Christmas layouts. I am pleased to say that I got right on the ball and scrapped an entire Christmas 2007 album. It helped that I printed my pictures right away, instead of leaving them on my 'puter. I used the 3.5x5" pictures and I must admit that I really had fun using an "odd" size. The pages are 6x6, so they went together very quickly.

(Hunter had so much fun "building" our tree this year. We talked about how God made the trees- and Hunter yells, "and Hunter too!!" That kid is so funny!!)

I hope you find lots of time to stamp, scrap, craft or do whatever it is that makes you happy this weekend!!! Take some time for yourself- you DESERVE it.

Blessings-

**Having a spot to call my own, also know as "The Studio"**

**Being able to share what I love with others**

Sisterhood of the Blogging Sisters (SBS)

Hello Sisters,
I am Lisa a SAHM to 2 Blessings, and married to God's Perfect Gift. I love crafting, I got into stamping 3 years ago, and well, it has been no turning back. LOL I am an Independent Demonstrator with The Angel Company- I signed up before I ever bought one stamp from them. I love their catalogue that much.
I love to cruise the 'net to get ideas to try when I can steal a couple of minutes in my studio.
I am looking forward to meeting all of my sisters!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Ours was very nice. The choir presented a wonderful musical during worship service, Pastor did an excellent job on his sermon, and the kids had a blast in Sunday school.

My mom and sister came down on Friday to bring the kids a boatload of candy and stuff. We hide the eggs and the kids enjoying finding them. We blew bubbles until our cheeks were tired- and we had bubble slop all over us. LOL Then out to dinner. The kids really enjoy spending the time with Grammy and Aunt Bob. Since they live 2 hours away we don't get to spend a lot of time with them.

Saturday was the egg hunt at church and we colored our eggs at home.

Last night they were both exhausted. LOL

I am blessed beyond measure!!

A dog's life

This is A dog's life, it retired from The Angel Company in December. I still love this set, and it is so fun to use. This was a birthday card for my cousin's step-daughter. She is such a precious little girl. I hope she enjoyed getting some happy mail.
I am planning a FUNshop for next month, I have kind of been out of the loop for a couple of months. I am so excited to be teaching and sharing once again. I need to decide what we should create. So, what is your favorite project?
Today's blessings-
**Baby kisses and tight little baby arm hugs**
**Having a 3 year old say, "I love you Mommy." for no special reason**
**Seeing the smile on DH's face when he walks in the door each evening**
I am blessed beyond measure!!

Happy Day

Happy Day is in TAC's Spring Supplement. These flamingos bring back a flood of memories. One being the time DH and I took Jess and Ashley to the Columbus Zoo. Ashley was so excited to see the flamingos. She could hardly wait to get home to tell her mom all about them. (Momma collected flamingos.) She told her mom that you could "Adopt" a flamingo. Momma asked her what you did with an adopted flamingo, and Ashley-having an answer for everything-told Momma, "They put it on a leash and you walk it around the zoo!" It made perfect sense to an eight year old, until we asked her about adopting the tiger. Hmmmm.

I just could not help myself, I had to "adopt" these flamingos. LOL
Happy day, colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. The purple card base, the designer paper, ribbon and eyelets are from the Miss Moxie SWIC from The Angel Company. Swirlygigs was stamped with Versamark. And for a little bling, Stickles was added to the water.

Today's blessing:
**Jessica
**Ashley
**Memories
I am blessed beyond measure!!!!

An'udder cow card, well, how about two? LOL I could not help myself. These cows are great, they are from An'udder birthday? from the TAC's Spring Supplement. I love the color combination in the Miss Moxie Soar with it collection. The task of selecting coordinating colors has already been done, you gotta love that. (That leaves more time for stamping. LOL)

The cow jumped over the moon.... or just sat and rested a spell. This image would be perfect on a sleeping baby layout, or new baby card. The image was colored with Lyra skin tone pencils, (blended with OMS) and the moon was first colored with Prismacolor pencils (and OMS) and then yellow stickles was "painted" on it. Diamond stickles was applied straight from the bottle on the stars. The Crop-a-dile made setting those big silver eyelets very easy (and totally silent). The ribbon was some form my stash. Swirly gigs was stamped on the Bazzill card stock with Versamark.

**My top 3 Blessings today**
DH- he is such an encouragement, not only in crafting, but in everything!!
Our kids- They are TRUE blessings!!
Family and friends- Each one is worth his/her weight in gold!!

This is a quick card with no layers. TAC's Starburstflorals, and some ribbon from the Miss Moxie collection complete the card. The Scriptures set was also used, but is now retired. (I love that set!!)
If you have a minute I would like for you to check out Rita's blog. She is such an amazing woman, I know her blog will inspire and bless you. And be sure to leave her a note of encouragement.
Have you checked out The Angel Company's web site? One of the new features is Mischelle's (the lady behind TAC) blog, Savvy Projects. There are some great project on there with step by step instructions. There are a couple of her projects on my "To do" list. LOL
Have a good weekend!!

Blessed beyond measure

I am truly BLESSED!! My needs are more than provided for by my Heavenly Father. I realize this every day, but some more than others. We just had a record breaking snow storm (20.5")this weekend, and we have a nice cozy home, stocked cupboards, and little ones to enjoy the snow. DH doesn't work the weekends, so he didn't need to worry about road conditions. Oh, and the nice neighbor across the street used the snow blower on our drive and sidewalk. Blessed, I tell you, I am blessed!!

The dogs on the other hand may have a different story to tell. Poor Mabel, (the Basset Hound) has had to tunnel her way around the yard. She is too nosy to stay inside. And Lucy (the Beagle) is following on her heels. Lucy is not crazy, she lets the short wide dog clear her a path. LOL

Hunter's first "real" snow storm, and he is having a ball!

Until later~

Fishstory

Guy cards. Why do I have problems with guy cards? It is hard enough to stop by the local card display and pick one that really "fits". But, just trying to make one that suits the recipient can bring a girl to her wits end.LOL And to complicate matters, he may not even like sports , fishing, camping, or golf. Anyhoo, here is one that is not too fussy. (And HB LOVED it, but of course he loves to fish.) I used Fishstory from TAC, stamped in Palette Starry night ink, so easy peasy!!
I am challenging myself to not let masculine cards challenge me any longer. LOL

So, how about you leave me a link to your favorite masculine card? I would love to CASE, ummm, I mean SEE. *wink*

New things

I love looking at new things. Give me a catalog and I am happy as can be. (Hunter is the same way, he looks at the sales flyers until you would think there is nothing left to see.LOL) The Angel Company just released the Spring Supplement. And after spending many hours pouring over the pages I think I *need* every set in there. LOL We now carry the Big Bite!! If you love the Crop-a-dile, you will want to add the Big Bite to your tool collection. The Big Bite allows you to set eyelets or grommlets anywhere on your page.
This card was made with An'udder birthday set from the new Spring Supplement. I just love her hat, I think it makes her look so innocent and sweet. There are 4 cows in this set, and each one has her own personality. You just can not help but smile when you see them. She has very little coloring using the Prismacolor pencils and the Skin tone pencils. This is a very quick design that can be completed in just a couple of minutes.

Come on everybody- It is time to Celebrate-

Yep, double hostess rewards!!! What exactly does that mean?

-With each $30 you spend on merchandise you get 2 Gift with Purchase stamps.

- With a FUNshop (or book party) totalling $100 in merchandise you get your choice of 2 half price items (can be anything in the catalog) PLUS 2 level A Hostess sets.

You will definitely want to take advantage of this promo. Be sure to book your FUNshop soon.
