Have you ever gone to your closet and said, "I don't have a thing to wear!" We know that is not true, the closet is filled with clothes- it's just nothing we want to wear. Well, last night I stood in front of my stamps and mentally said, "I don't have a thing to stamp." Well, that is soo not true!! And then in a split second something caught my eye- All things of Nature. It has been awhile since I showed these lovely birds some loving AND, I didn't even reach for my Prismacolor pencils and OMS this time!! (I know you all are in total shock!! LOL)I created the background with Curls and swirls and clear embossing powder. The image was sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist after it was stamped. (Lesson learned- Palette Ink works much better than the ink I used!!!! This ink wanted to run.) And the ribbon is a very close match IRL. This was another "assembly line" card. Now I just have to make my way to the mail box in the rain to send them on there merry way.

beautiful! and, I've been stuck the same way sometimes when surrounded by stamps! Why do we get bogged down by the ones we don't have rather than using our old "faves" a new way. Glad you got inspired by your old friend, the all things of nature stamp set. :)
