This is a birthday card using the Oopsie Daisy stamp set from TAC. (I will be so sad to see it retire at the end of the year!!) I think it would also make a beautiful Christmas card. The cardstock is from the DCWV Brights stack. I colored the flowers with Prismacolor pencils and the colorless blender. I used a scallop punch and stickles to finish the card. I Love stickles- they come in may colors and they are the perfect way to add a little bling to your projects. I don't get as many stray sparkles all over me when I use the stickles. LOL
The next card I am sharing was from the Mystery swap the Mary hosted. She stamped off the images from TAC stamp sets and sent to everyone. We all started with the same image, but we each added our own twist. I think this was the most fun I had with a swap. Thank you Mary!!!
I got to play with 2 different images, one was from the Tickled pink set- a flamingo wearing a bikini- how funny! The other is a set I have had my eye on since the new catalogue came out. Perky penguins- even if you are not a penguin fan you will love these little guys.
Here is my Perky Penguin card- This one is the "prototype" LOL The ones I sent back were just slightly different. This is a Tent card, it measures 4.5x 4.5 (the light blue is actually the card base) and the image sticks above the top to make it a standard A2 card. I colored the image with Tombow Markers and the blender. The snow hills are torn paper and the edges were inked. (On the ones sent in I added stickles.) The whole image was inked up with Versamark and embossed with Holographic embossing powder. IRL It shimmers, just like a frosty morning. I finished up by using a loopy brad and a little ribbon.
Until later~
