September SOTM

I want to share the September SOTM with you.

I will have more info to post later. I am working on "Color me cards" to sell. This is a project geared towards little ones.

Also be watching for my September Card kit.

I am expecting a delivery later this week, I will share more with you once that comes in.

Also, I am working on organizing my "studio". HB got one of those Napa Cassette holders for me to use to store my ink pads. It came today and I can hardly wait to get all of my ink in there. I am still working on storage for my punches. I am sure I will come up with something- soon I hope!! LOL

Sharpie Markers and Kids

(**The story you are about to read is true, the names have not been change to protect the Innocent- because they are GUILTY!!!!**)

As promised, here is the story. Momma is busy taken care of somethings and Hunter is playing around, waiting for Hailey to get up. Well, when Hailey wakes up they are in my bedroom playing. Things are very quiet in there- you moms know what this means! I sneak in to check on them, and I am greeted with two of the biggest, orneriest smiles. Much to my horror Hunter has black sharpie facial hair, and tattoos on his arms. AND, because he is the good big brother, he drew tattoos on Hailey's arms as well. Thank goodness he hadn't got to the facial hair on her yet!! So, I run them in the bathroom and try to scrub it off- no luck. I call daddy at work, and ask him how to remove Sharpie, he jumps on the 'net and says that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works on hard surfaces. (We are talking about the face and arms of a 1 & 2 year old- hardly a hard surface.LOL) The only other thing I can think of is Baby Wipes (hey, I use then to clean the ink off of my rubber stamps.) The wipes work wonders, with in a few minutes they are squeaky clean once again. (No, I did not get and pictures- I was too busy trying to get them cleaned up before it had a chance to "set". LOL)
So, here is a picture of the guilty twosome taken later that evening-

I know, looking at this picture it is hard to believe my story could be true- but it is. LOL

Until later~

Thank you for your prayers! My sister is home now. She is going to have surgery again on Wednesday. It is suppose to be an Out Patient thing, but as we found out last week it doesn't always work that way. Please continue to keep her in you prayers.
I have a couple of ideas I have been kicking around for a little while. I would really like to make my cards and gifts available for others to purchase. In order to do this I need to come up with a business name. I have the hardest time with names, it takes me forever to come up with one. You got any ideas? LOL
When you have time check out my friend Chris' blog.

September special

Here is the TAC Special for September. I can not wait to get my hands on these. The price is great too! If you do the math, you are paying $2.05 for the stamps- what a deal!!!

My sister went in the hospital on Thursday and had emergency surgery. Please keep her in your prayers. Because of infection (which she already had) and fever she didn't get to go home yesterday like she wanted to. She is hoping to be able to go home today. Poor thing, she is one of those people that if she didn't have bad luck she'd have no luck at all. I wish I lived closer so I could take care of her.

The kids went down early last night, so I started cleaning my studio. Boy, does it need it. I am going through all my stuff and donating what I am not going to be using to the Children's Home. I am sure they can use it to make their scrap books. I think I will spend the day in there today. (Unless I find something else to do. LOL)

Until later~

I am blessed

I decided when I started this blog to call it, "Blessed Beyond Measure", because I truly feel that way. If I would start listing all of my blessings today, I would still be sitting here a million years from now, typing away. Everyday I find a "count your blessings" moment just to say, "Thank you Lord".
One of those blessings is family, both "blood" kin and "heart" kin. I have been very fortunate to have been a Nanny in my past life. I had to privilege of caring for 3 kids in 2 families for quit a long time. Well, Ashley is the youngest, and I got her right from the start (the other 2 were 6 months old when I got them). I remember waiting for Ashley to be born, and then getting the call that she was here. She was so precious the first time I saw her. And as the days, months, and years passed I could not have loved that child any more if she had been my own. I remember how excited she was when HB & I told her and Jess that we would be getting married- until she found out I would be moving 2 hours away. The first thing she said was, "Don't get pregnant!" I thought that was odd, and asked her about it. That is when I realised she wanted to always be my "Baby Girl." She didn't want anyone else to take her place.
Last summer when Hailey was born Ashley came to help out. She knows now that she will always be my Baby Girl, not matter what!!
I am blessed to have Ashley (and Jess) as a part of my "heart" family.
Today is Ashley's day. I hope she has the most incredible day. I wish her only goodness and happiness. Today my baby girl turns 15. I love you Ashley!!!! Happy birthday!!
What and who are your greatest blessings? Go ahead and share, I would love the hear them.

(Sneak peak- Funshop, sharpie markers and kids, and some pictures coming your way.)

Snips and snails...

Yesterday I shared with you some things about Hailey. Today is Brother's turn. I knew when this child started climbing at 7 months that I would have my hands full- boy do I ever!!! LOL Hunter is such a sweet little guy.It is hard to believe he will turn 3 in a couple of weeks.
He loves figuring things out. Some days you can almost see his mind working. Hunter is a "Thinker." He reminds me a lot of my dad, trying to think of a way to get something to work, or make things easier. He makes me laugh every day.

Here is Momma's super hero-

He came up with this getup all on his own. He actually wears this "costume" quit often. I love this age, he does care what others may think, and about being judged. He is just having fun. Every morning when I get up I say a little prayer, "Lord, please help me to keep up with Hunter today!" LOL I love you Little Man!!

Sugar and spice

I love my kids so much!! I fall totally and completely in love with them every time I see them. It is amazing to see how much they grow and change every day. They are a lot alike in some ways- very active, love to climb, and they both love animals. But, they are very different too, Hunter has blonde hair and blue eyes, while Hailey has brown hair and eyes. Hailey loves books, Hunter loves to "build" things. There is no question though that they love each other!!

Hailey is just a year old, but she seems like she is older. She knows what she wants 99% of the time, and determined to get it 100% of the time. LOL She loves to cuddle, being sung to, and being gently tickled. She hates to be told no, and already knows how to win daddy over to her side.

Here is a picture of her on Sunday after church. I will tell you what I told everyone at church- you better get a good look at her hair now, because I will probably never get to do it again. (If she has her way!! You would have thought I was killing this kid, just trying to make her hair look cute!LOL)

I love those first little pigtails on little girls. That is just one of the many things that makes having little girls so much fun.
HB is speaking to a local 4-H group tonight about hay. I think most of the kids are horse lovers and wanted to know all about raising and selecting the best hay for their horses. He is really excited, he gets to teach kids AND talk about "farm stuff"- both are things he loves.

It's beginning to look like Christmas....

Well, at least in my dining room. LOL I am busy working on some projects and samples for my first FUNshop on Saturday. I am so excited!! There should be a nice group of ladies there. I still have a bazillion things I want to do before then.
Here is a sneak peak of what I have been working on. The bookmark will be one of the Make n Take projects. I love these stamps! They are very traditional images, and I know little ones would love to color them. The ribbon is from an unknown source, but everything else is from TAC. I used the Christmas fun stamp set, Vintage Holiday paper, and Prismacolor pencils on each one.
The Christmas lights gift tag is 3x3. The large Santa card was made using green Bazzill card stock, along with Vintage Holiday scraps. That adorable reindeer is card candy. (A small embellishment used on a larger card. Or it could even be used in a scrap book layout.) The bell is a 3x3 gift card. The bookmark was stamped with L'Amore and Jardin Moss palette inks. (There are also 3 more images in this set.Wow!!)
Well, I had better get back to "work"!
Until next time~

Hot and Humid!! What more can I say? It has been down right unbearable here. I wish I could bottle up some of this heat and save if for January!! LOL

Here is Sister eating some of that good old summer food!!

I will have to upload some of the projects I have been working on. I have a FUNshop on the 18th and I am so excited. I am doing 4 projects, and I have been very busy getting those done. HB has been entertaining the kiddos while momma "works".
Happy weekend everyone!!!

Hee Hee- I'm a blogggger!

Guess who jumped on the blog band wagon? LOL Well, here goes nothing. I want to use this blog to share The Angel Company (TAC) with others. Check here for the latest info.

Also, I want to keep everyone up to date with the kids, and what is going on with us. There is never a dull moment here.

See, I told you, never a dull moment. I am not sure which one thought of this, but you can see they are in it together.
